Samantha is the founder and owner of Charlotte Doulas. When she is not supporting families or caring for her own she is busy as the senior director of learning and design for REAL Doula as well as an ID Consultant with NASWA. Samantha discovered her passion for doula work during her own pregnancy. Implementing the very first Postpartum Support Group in the Seattle area and quickly training to become a doula herself, Samantha knew that supporting families was what she was meant to do. Married to her best friend, Samantha and her husband are over the moon in love with their beautiful daughter. The three of them reside in Indian Trail, a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Debi Thomas

Debi has over 48 years of experience in supporting families and caring for newborns. She has three grown successful sons who reside nearby and Debi is affectionately called Bop-Bop by her grand-daughter. She is an expert at organizational skills and newborn care, making her a tremendous asset to your support system during the postpartum time. Discovering that what she has been doing with love her entire life is in fact a career, Debi became a Certified REAL Doula and is an instrumental piece of the honeycomb that makes up the Charlotte Doulas.
Racquel Swedlund

Racquel became a doula because she loves to love, nurture and empower. She feels that being a birth doula is not simply a job or career, it's her life and passion and it is as though her heart was born for this.
The value that Racquel brings to the birthing parents has been described as vital and essential. Her commitment and loyalty before, during and after the labor guarantees the parents a loving and priceless experience with the comfort of what will feel like a best friend or close sister.
She firmly stands by your side, supporting your birth your way, and doing whatever it takes to help you achieve your birth goals.

Racquel has been professionally trained as a labor doula and she has kept up with continuing education to stay knowledgeable on the latest in Maternal & Infant care to better serve her clients.
Because of Racquel's love for her family and the beautiful Carolinas she currently resides in Rock Hill, SC
where she enjoys her life full of thankfulness and is incredibly honored to serve the surrounding areas to be the amazing doula you want for your birth.
